In our last few days the class gathered to explore Spitalfields Market, a collection of vendors who gather weekly to share their trinkets, crafts, and food.
Seeing the beautiful concrete streets, the interesing church centering the town, and the market, was a pleasure, making for a great afternoon.
On our final day we gathered at The British Museum for a special look at original copies of William Blake's prints and poetry. The special collections did not allow photography, but the experience was one I am sure none of us will ever forget.
Our final activity as a group was joining Prof. Makdisi and our TAs for a private dinner. The class dined and laughed as we reminisced on the past few weeks, and the memories we had created that would last us a lifetime.
